Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Zaid’s parents met in the seventh year of his departure, along with a very small group of Zaid’s family and friends.
The song “see you again my friend” was played while seven of Zaid’s friends sent homing pigeons to him in the sky.
In honor of Zaid’s memory, his parents distributed small souvenirs designed and made by his mother and her friend, Suhair Shakarchi. It has Zaid’s photo as well as the date of his memory.
In addition, all attendees sent balloons to Zaid in the sky.
