Zaid Youssef Christian Community (ZYCC) is a Canadian Nonprofit origination founded and led by the parents of loved Zaid Youssef, who was one of two high school students shot dead on October 6, 2014 after a schoolyard brawl near Don Bosco Catholic Secondary School in Toronto.
We intend to honor all gun violence victims by making our tragedy a moment of transformation. In schools, homes, and communities, we can prevent gun violence by empowering youth to recognize the danger of violence and uniting all those committed to children’s safety.
We also support immigrants & refugees through the journey of making Canada home. Our newcomer settlement services provide support while the newcomer family adapt to your new life in Canada.
- Providing support to the community members.
- Create a sense of closure and harmony to help youth violence prevention.
- Assist new comer families to settle down.
We aim to prevent violence in schools, homes, and communities by educating and empowering youth and adults
Each and every effort to support the community is greatly appreciated
