On October 6th, 2018, at the queen of heaven cemetery, Zaid’s parents and friends met to commemorate the anniversary of the death of their young son, the martyr Zaid Youssef.
Zaid’s grandmothers, Mrs. Laila Bani and Mrs. Nasreen Sawa, attended and participated in sending 4 homing pigeons to the sky.
A glass bottle was filled with words written by all attendees to Zaid.
In order to convey their longing for Zaid in the sky, Zaid’s friends sent the phrase “we miss you Zaid“
